It is essential that we are notified of any specific dietary requirements prior to your visit to ensure that we can cater for you appropriately.
Provisional Reservation and Confirmation of a Reservation:
When you make a reservation at Amici you are making an offer to the restaurant to accept your reservation. Your reservation is not complete and legally binding on the Restaurant until such time as you have secured the reservation with a valid credit card and have received a confirmatory email from the restaurant accepting your booking. It is our policy that all reservations must be confirmed in advance. We will reach out to you for confirmation at least 24 hours in advance, either by telephone or by email. If we are still unable to reach you for confirmation as of 5:00 pm (GMT) on the previous day of your reservation – and if it has not been guaranteed by a credit card – we will release the reservation to guests on our waiting list.
Amendments to your Booking:
Should your details be incorrect on your confirmation email or require amendment, please advise the reservations team at your earliest convenience by email at email@example.com or by telephone on +44 (0) 20 7735 0302. If you do wish to amend your booking details, changes must be advised at least 24 hours in advance and are subject to availability. We will reconfirm with you if we can accommodate your changes. Please note we are not able to change reservations made via Opentable.
Time of Bookings:
We are only able to accommodate so many guests within each quarter of an hour period in order to ensure that you receive the best level of service from us, and we do ask that once you have secured a reservation at a particular time that you adhere to that time, if not then you may lose your table to another guest.
4.1. up to 4 guests are allocated a 1 hour and 45 minutes dining time.
4.2. tables of 5 or 6, 2 hours.
Table Allocation and Outdoor Terrace Seating:
Tables are allocated on arrival by the restaurant team and although we will do our best to allocate a table in your preferred area of the dining room, we cannot guarantee this. Reservations guarantee a seat in the restaurant but do not guarantee a specific table. Our maximum reservation size can vary depending upon the availability of the outdoor terrace and we do not take booking for specific tables. You may choose your table on arrival, according to your booking and we give priority to customers that have reserved. Please understand, this is solely due to the size and seating capacity of the restaurant.
Temporary Outdoor Dining During COVID-19 Emergency – March 2021 (subject to review):
Credit Card Guarantee Reservations:
When making a reservation a credit card is required to secure the table. If Amici confirms the reservation this booking is conditional on the Client supplying credit card details and the authority for charges to be deducted (including cancellation charges) on the payment terms outlined in the Cancellation Policy. If credit card details and payment authority is not given to Amici by the Client then subject to any outstanding obligation due to the Restaurant from the Client the reservation will cease to be of effect. The booking that is the subject of the provisional reservation will be released without any further notification to the Client.
Deposit “Covid-19 guidelines – March 2021” genuine reservation fee (subject to review):
We strongly recommended that groups reserve a table in advance by contacting the the team directly on 0207 735 0302 or via our website http://amici-london.com/book/ , to complete a booking on our live system. For bookings Tuesday to Sunday, groups of 12 diners and above are required to order from our set menu. Our set menus are in place to ensure we can cater for your party and the rest of the restaurant at the same time, there are so many different possible combinations on our menu that if we didn’t have a set menu for larger groups, our service for both you and our other customers would not be at the standard we expect. On Wednesday to Friday Lunchtimes, if we are quiet and ordering from the A La Carte Menu won’t impact you or our other diners, then we can be flexible. Please ask one of the management team.
We request a deposit of £25 per head, for groups of 15 and above, because we are reserving a table and therefore making it unavailable for other customers. Unfortunately, we have had experiences in the past, where we have held tables for larger parties and no-one, has ever arrived – it is not fair to our other diners that we have to turn them away because we are fully booked.
Please note that payment by cheque is no longer acceptable. Cash payment is accepted or a valid credit or debit card must be swiped through the chip and pin machine and adequate authorization taken.
If making a reservation with a prepaid voucher, please inform reservations of this when you are making your booking. You will be asked for your unique Voucher number. The Voucher validity period is 12 months from the date of purchase. Vouchers must be booked and undertaken prior to the expiry date printed on the back of the voucher, otherwise, the voucher will be deemed to be invalid and no liability will be accepted by Amici. Advanced bookings are essential, and reservations remain subject to availability. You must bring your original voucher and present it to your host/hostess when you first arrive at the restaurant as this is your form of payment. Lost, stolen or non-present vouchers cannot be replaced or reprinted. In the case the original voucher cannot be presented on arrival your bill will have to be settled using an alternative method of payment. Vouchers are valid for one year and the expiry date is on the actual voucher. Vouchers can only be redeemed once, may not be exchanged for cash, replaced if lost and is non-transferable or refundable. Cancellation of a booking within 24 hours of your reservation time will render the certificate null and void.
The restaurant’s continued viability relies on reservations being honored by our customers, and adequate notice being given of any changes or cancellations. Please remember that all reservations must be canceled within the time specified to avoid any charges. The customer is deemed to have authorized the settling of all outstanding charges which can be processed by the Restaurant using any credit or debit card details held on file. Where possible, the Amici team will actively manage restaurant bookings by checking attendance with the primary guests/contact we have in our bookings diary. If you fail to arrive for your reservation, cancel, amend or reduce the number of guests within the time specified below, your card will be charged the cost of £ 10 per guest. We charge a no-show fee (£10 per person) for failure to attend at the reserved time. We will debit your card which you provided when you made your reservation with a no-show fee. The fee you will be charged will be advised to you when you are making your reservation and also on your confirmation email.
