Your Personal Information is collected to assist us in making your reservation and providing the services you request at the restaurant, by keeping information related to your meal with us we can ensure that we can tailor our service to your need such as: special occasions, preferences, allergies…

1.On Our Web Site

A. Initially Upon Contact With Our Web Site
When you visit our web site www.amici-london.com you are initially given a “cookie”, and your computer is assigned an ID number. C. Making a Purchase on Our Web Site
When making a purchase, such as a gift card, you will be asked to complete a form that includes your contact information and payment information. The form is secure (see below). When the form is complete, your credit card number will be verified using a checking sequence, and once this is confirmed we authorize payment for the amount shown on your order form. Once your transaction is confirmed you will see a ‘Thank You’ screen, and if you requested an e-mail confirmation it will be sent within a few moments. Again, due to the personal nature of the information you provide when making a purchase through our web site, the form is secure, such that your credit card number is protected with encryption technology. Purchasing transactions are assisted by third party processors in the United Kingdom who are required by contract with us to protect the privacy of your Personal Information.

We collect your personal information directly from you, when you complete the reservation form on our website, or email and telephone.

Our email solution provider and our booking system provider will have access to your personal information. This is necessary for us to operate our booking system and to provide you with a booking confirmation and an electronic receipt.

We may also need to share your personal information with the following in limited circumstances:

– IT security providers;

– Insurers;

– External advisors (for example solicitors or auditors); and

– Public authorities or law enforcement.

Any time we provide access to your personal information to someone else, we will ensure that it is adequately secured to protect your privacy.


 

How long do we keep your personal information?

The information that we collected for the purpose of processing your booking will be kept for a period of six (6) years following the date of the booking. We need to retain it for business records, and in case of a dispute relating to the booking.

Your payment information will be kept for a period of two (2) years following the date of the payment. We need to retain it as instructed by our payments processor, and in the event of a dispute relating to your payment.

We may sometimes need to keep a copy of your personal information for a longer period, for example in the event of a dispute, to investigate a data breach or to comply with legal requirements. We will never keep your personal information for longer than necessary.

In all cases, your personal information will be securely destroyed once the retention periods described above expire.

What are your rights in respect of your personal information?

You have rights in respect of the personal information we hold on you, including the right to ask us to:

CCTV Privacy Notice

What information do we collect about you?

We record and store CCTV footage in and around the restaurant, for the purpose of ensuring your safety and that of our other guests and our staff, as well as to detect and prevent crime.

You may be personally identified on such footage for the duration of your visit to our premises (for example, your face may be visible on stored footage).

How do we collect your personal information?

Your personal information is collected automatically by the operation of our network of security cameras.

What if you do not want to provide your personal information?

We need to collect CCTV footage for security purposes. Should you express the wish to not appear on CCTV footage, we will need to deny you access to our restaurants.

How is your personal information protected?

The CCTV and footage will be retained for a period of 30 days from the date it is recorded. We need to retain this footage in case we have to refer to it at a later date (for example, to investigate a crime that occurred on our premises).

All CCTV operations are conducted in line with the recommendations from the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) in its CCTV code of practice, and in compliance with the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012.

We may sometimes need to keep a copy of your personal information for a longer period, for example in the event of an incident, to investigate a data breach or to comply with legal requirements. We will never keep your personal information for longer than necessary.

In all cases, your personal information will be securely destroyed once the retention periods described above expire.
